Police raid on HDP Cizre district building

SIRNAK - Police raided HDP Cizre district building. Scores were detained in simultaneous house raids in Cizre and Silopi.
 
In the Cizre district of Şırnak, the police raided the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Cizre District Organization building early this morning. While the reason for the raid could not be learned, the police search continues in the blockaded building.
 
On the other hand, simultaneous house raids were carried out in Cizre and Silopi. Families, Solidarity, Unity and Culture Association (Mebya-Der) Co-chair Serhat Küçük, HDP Cizre district manager Naim İnedi, Asya Arslan and Mela Kasım Yiğit were detained during the raids. It was stated that Delil Ürek and Nadir Onuk were detained in Silopi. It was also stated that the number of detentions may increase.
