URFA - Continuing their sit in demanding justice, Şenyaşar family said: "Ember burns where it falls as long as everyone remains silent."
Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, is on its 295th day. Coming in front of the court house early in the morning, Şenşayar family started the sit in for the day.
Tagging the Twitter accounts of Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin, Labour Party of Turkey Chair Erkan Baş, AKP MP Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba and Turkish Bar Associations (TTB) President Erinç Sağkan, the family wrote the following: "An AKP MP carried out a massacre before the eyes of hundreds of public officials. Ember burns where it falls as long as everyone remains silent. Everyone is watching in awe. Our sit in for justice enters days 295."
