The operation launched by the Internal Security Forces after the ISIS attack on the Sinai Prison in Hesekê's Xiwêran District on January 20 continues. The "Cleaning Operation" carried out inside the Sinai Prison by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from which the ISIS members attempted to escape, continues meticulously.

 

 

The Mesopotamia Agency (MA) went to the Sinai Prison with its cameras where the operation continues.

 

After 8 wards were taken under control in the operation carried out today, 250 ISIS members surrendered. The number of ISIS members who have surrendered since the beginning of the operation has reached 550.  SDF rescued 9 people captured by ISIS with a special operation it carried out today. SDF forces, which have taken full control of the prison and its surroundings, are gradually continuing their operations inside the prison.

 

There are occasional clashes between the SDF forces and ISIS militants inside of the prison.
