URFA - Continuing the Justice Watch, Emine Şenyaşar called for the release of her son Fadıl Şenyaşar.
Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, is on its 326th day. Coming from their house in Suruç which is 42 kilometers away from the courthouse, mother and son started the sit-in for the day.
'WE ARE HERE IN FRONT OF THIS COURTHOUSE FOR A YEAR'
Stating that they have been demanding justice for a year now, Emine Şenyaşar said, "Release my son. End this cruelty. We have been here for a year and the prosecutor refuses to see us. Let my son go. Let us go back home. It is very cold. We are sick. I want to re-unite with my son before I die. I will sit here until the day I die if they don't release my son."
CALL TO ERDOĞAN
Addressing President Erdoğan, mother Şenyaşar said: "Enough is enough. Release my son. Help us. You know how they died. You know what they did in that hospital. They killed my sons. They killed my husband. They gauged his eyes out. They beat him with iron sticks right in front of me. They slaughtered my sons. I am sick. I need to undergo surgery. Why did you make that killer a member of the parliament? Why are you let them be free?"
