NEWS CENTER - Thousands of people in the Makhmur Refugee Camp protested the plot and called on everyone to fight for Öcalan's freedom.
The international conspiracy against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan was also protested in the Makhmur Refugee Camp. Thousands of people gathered in front of the Martyrs' Families Association building and marched with the banner "No one can darken our sun".
Making a statement on behalf of the mass, Democratic People's Assembly Co-chair Filiz Budak reacted to the isolation policy.
Stating that the isolation on Imrali must be broken and Öcalan must be free in order for the Kurds to lead a dignified and free life and to solve the Middle East problem, Budak said, "For this purpose, all the people of Kurdistan, democratic forces and people of conscience must unite around Imrali and fight for Leader Apo's freedom. We are calling on you to come out. The forces that are now silent will be shamefully referred to as traitors in the pages of Kurdistan's history. Those who want to be commemorated with the Kurdish people in the future and to experience this victory should go out on the streets now."
The action ended with the slogans "Bê Serok Jiyan Nabe(There is no life without President)" and "Bijî Serok Apo(Long live President Apo)"
