Ayşe Ateş, the wife of Sinan Ateş, the former Chair of the Grey Wolves who was killed in Ankara, made a statement on her virtual media account regarding the details of her meeting with President Erdoğan. "Our esteemed President's acceptance of me and my daughters is not a success or a victory," said Ateş, and added: "The real success will be achieved when justice is established, and the real victory will be achieved when handcuffs are put on the wrists of all instigators and perpetrators."

Ateş stated that she conveyed the threats against herself and her family after her husband's death to Erdoğan, and announced that Erdoğan gave the Minister of Justice Tunç "instruction to take action".
