NEWS CENTER – The people of Derik are waiting in front of the Semelka Border Gate for the arrival of convoys from the Federated Kurdistan Region. 

 

Following attacks by Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and Turkish-backed paramilitary groups on North and East Syria, citizens across the four parts of Kurdistan are taking their places in resistance positions with a spirit of mobilisation. 

 

Thousands of people from cities such as Erbil (Hewlêr), Sulaymaniyah (Silêmanî), Kirkuk, and Raperîn in the Federated Kurdistan Region have set off for North and East Syria.
