NEWS CENTER – A group of young people who set out from the Kurdistan Region toward North and East Syria have arrived in Derik.

 

In response to ongoing attacks by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Turkish-backed paramilitary groups, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has declared a general mobilization. As part of this mobilization, groups of young people from all four parts of Kurdistan have begun heading toward Rojava.

 

The first group departing from the Kurdistan Region crossed into Rojava through the Semalka Border Crossing and reached North and East Syria.

 

According to Hawar News Agency (ANHA), the group of youths who arrived through Semalka stated that they would take their place in the ranks of resistance in line with the mobilization call issued by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
