DİYARBAKIR - TJA invited the women to resistance in their statement they made for March 8.
Tevgera Jinên Azad (TJA) issued a written statement to mark 8 March, International Working Women's Day.
The statement said: "The AKP-MHP government is responsible for the war against women and labor, internal and external wars, the massacres of laborers, the massacres of women. All wars it wages in the attempt to keep itself in power."
The statement added: "As TJA, we welcome this March 8 with the great freedom values of our struggle for freedom that has been growing and influencing regional and worldwide movements.
The problem of women's freedom in Kurdistan has been placed at the center thanks to the freedom philosophy and policy of PKK leader, Abdullah Öcalan.
The women's freedom struggle in these lands has reached an important stage with the Rojava revolution."
The stament continued: "We will increase our struggle against isolation, against massacres, denial and destruction policies. We did not bow to isolation, fascism and sexism, and continued to work with organizing commitment in all areas of life. The resisting female spirit of democratic modernity against capitalist modernity continues its struggle all over the world."
LET'S MEET ON THE STREETS
The statement ended its remarks by calling on all women to "join the demos all over the world and to turn the streets into resistance positions."
