The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced that more than 211 people were killed in Syria in February 2026. SOHR reported that 15 of those who lost their lives were women and 29 were children. 

 

The Observatory listed the causes of death as internal conflicts, explosions resulting from the uncontrolled use of weapons, attacks, executions, war remnants and mines, various crimes, suspicious deaths and the discovery of bodies in mass graves.
