The Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) Leadership Council in Iran issued a written statement regarding recent developments in the region.

 

The statement reads: “As PJAK, as a movement that has always based itself on the democratic path for a solution and has carried out the struggle for freedom and democracy, it emphasizes that the current process faced by our people is extremely sensitive and critical. The developments in Kurdistan and the region are historical and determining in nature. PJAK considers the pressure, coercion, military attacks, political arrests, and denial policies directed at our people unacceptable. Such practices do not solve the problem; on the contrary, they deepen the crisis and increase suffering. The Kurdish issue is a political and democratic issue; its solution should be achieved not through war and violence, but through dialogue and democratic methods. Our movement calls on our people to be united and organized during this critical period. Unity, awareness, and joint struggle are the guarantees of success. To protect our gains and advance our legitimate rights, we must strengthen our solidarity and act together. We also invite all political forces, civil society organizations, intellectuals, women, and youth to take responsibility at this historical juncture. Through cooperation and joint action, we can overcome the challenges we face and build a democratic and free future.”
