At least 10 METU students detained

NEWS CENTER - Police have raided the homes of socialist students who were attacked at a concert held as part of the METU Spring Festival; at least 10 students have been detained. 
 
During singer Ilkay Akkaya’s concert at the 37th International Spring Festival of Middle East Technical University (METU), socialist students were targeted over allegations that they had “targeted the Turkish flag.” Police carried out raids on their homes in the early morning hours and detained them.
 
According to information provided by METU students, 10 students have been detained so far.
