URFA- The Peace Mothers of Mardin, who visited the Şenyaşar family, who was on the sit-in, demanded justice.
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 618. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Pirsûs (Suruç) province of Riha, on June 14, 2018. Mardin Peace Mothers Council paid a solidarity visit to the mother and son's sit-in. Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Mardin and Urfa provincial co-chairs also accompanied the mothers.
'JUSTICE SHOULD BE PROVIDED'
Stating that they are seeking justice, Peace Mother Besna Günay said: “We do not want the dead to come out of prisons. Death and war should be stopped now. For nearly 2 years, Emine Şenyaşar has been seeking rights, law and justice. We want the right and the law to be ensured.”
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Mardin Provincial Co-Chair Berivan Bahçeci stated that they came to give voice to Emine Şenyaşar on the sit-in. Bahçeci said: "This injustice on the Şenyaşar family should be ended. Mothers should not experience this pain anymore. We will always stand by the Şenyaşar family. We want justice for the Şenyaşar family."
Mother Emine Şenyaşar also told what happened to her and demanded that her imprisoned son be released and justice be provided.
