URFA - Continuing the sit-in and calling the AKP MPs to the hearing to be held on January 17, the Şenyaşar family said: "They should come and hear from the witnesses what kind of massacre their own colleagues committed."
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 676. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Mother Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar continued their sit-in by hanging banners in front of the courthouse.
'PERPETRATORS WERE PROTECTED BY THE PRESIDENT'
Asking everyone who speaks about law and justice to look in front of the Urfa Courthouse,
Ferit Şenyaşar said: "All the people of Urfa experienced this pain of this mother. The perpetrator is the deputy of the ruling party. This MP is protected by the President of the Republic. All the people of Urfa are witnesses to this persecution. The AKP is experiencing a loss of votes across Turkey. The biggest loss of votes will also be in Urfa. We are right, our demand is law. We continue our sit-in within the limits of the law. The lawsuit filed against us regarding the attack in the hospital will be heard in Malatya on January 17th. MPs come and hear from the witnesses what kind of massacre their own co-workers committed."
