İZMİR - 12 musicians in İzmir were detained on charges of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization".

 

Before the May 14 elections of the Greens and Left Future Party (Green Left Party), 12 musicians who participated in the opening of the election liaison office were detained. 12 musicians, including Sertan Özdemir, Şakir Yiğit Özdemir, Cemal Emen, Rıdvan Kaya, Fatime Tandoğan, Eyüp Azrak, Gökhan Glüçık and Kadir Yasin Temur, who were detained by the police raiding their homes in the morning, were taken to the İzmir Provincial Security Directorate.

 

The musicians are accused of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization".
