ISTANBUL - 2 of the 3 HDP members detained in Beylikdüzü were released after giving their statements to the prosecutor's office, and Emrullah Şenyüz was arrested.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Beylikdüzü District Organization executives Zemine Gökçe, Emrullah Şenyüz and Nurten Demir, who were detained during the house raids in Istanbul Beylikdüzü on October 27 and held in the Istanbul Police Department for 3 days, were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. HDP members accused of their party work were asked about the actions and events they participated in.
Following their statements to the prosecutor's office, Gökçe and Demir were released, and Şenyüz was referred to the court with a request for arrest. Şenyüz, who was taken to court, was arrested and sent to prison on the allegation of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization".
