Kurd and internationalist youth are preparing for the second of the "Rêwîtiyê Azadî (Freedom Journey)" action to ensure the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The "Rêwîtiyê Azadî (Freedom Journey)" action, which will be held for the second time in 2024 within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue" campaign, will start on February 9 in Mannheim, Germany. The action will end with the conference for Abdullah Öcalan, which will be held in Strasbourg, France, on February 16.
STATEMENT REGARDING THE ACTION
The preparation committee made a written statement regarding the Freedom Journey action that will take place on February 9. The statement is as follows: “February 15, the date of the international conspiracy against the Kurd through Abdullah Öcalan, is also the day of the Kurdish genocide. It is the most comprehensive genocidal targeted attack carried out to date. The isolation imposed as a continuation of the International Conspiracy continues with an international character. There has been no news from Abdullah Öcalan for 34 months. Kurdish youth and women have never accepted this system of isolation and genocide. Kurdish youth and women, who formed a circle of fire around Abdullah Öcalan at every opportunity and condition, prevented the success of the international conspiracy. At a time when the international conspiracy is being updated and genocidal attacks are increasing, we, as Kurdish youth, do not accept the concept of destruction."
