The resistance vigil against the appointment of a trustee to the municipality in Xelfetî (Halfeti) district of Riha (Urfa) continues on its 15th day. Citizens who came to the blockaded municipality building in the early hours of the morning despite the cold weather hung the banner "We want democracy not trustee" in the area where the resistance watch continues. Xelfetî Municipality Co-Mayors Saniye Bayram and Mehmet Karayılan and many people attended the vigil. Representatives of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) and district organizations also supported the vigil in solidarity.
