ANKARA - Musa Farisoğulları, a member of the KCDK-E Divan Board, said that the state, which wanted to ‘liquidate the Kurdish freedom struggle’ with the conspiracy, has reached the point of liquidation and added, "If the AKP party blocks the process, Turkey will lose."

The international conspiracy against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is in its 26th year. The conspiracy started on 9 October 1998 with the release of Abdullah Öcalan from Syria. It continued until Öcalan was brought to Turkey on 15 February 1999. In the following period, it became clearer that the conspiracy was a strategic move shaped by the global balance of power. The effects of this intervention, which was developed specifically for the Kurdish issue, have continued until today.

Although 26 years have passed, the Kurdish issue has not only not been solved, but has deepened even more. The paradigm put forward by Öcalan under conditions of isolation, on the other hand, crossed borders and was adopted by millions. Kurds and their friends are welcoming the 26th anniversary of the conspiracy with the campaign "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue". In this context, a rally will be organised with the participation of hundreds of thousands in Strasbourg on the anniversary of the conspiracy.

Some time ago it was announced that Abdullah Öcalan would make a call for the solution of the Kurdish question and democratisation of the country. Öcalan's call is expected to make a mark on the rally to be held in Strasbourg.

Musa Farisoğulları, member of the Divan Board of the Kurdish Democratic Society Congress in Europe (KCDK-E), evaluated the conspiracy and the global "freedom" campaign. Farisoğulları said that one of the main aims of the conspiracy was to ‘liquidate the Kurdish freedom struggle in the person of Öcalan’ and that the discussions on the ‘new process’ that started in October once again revealed that the conspiracy had not succeeded. Noting that Turkey was given the role of ‘guardian’ in the conspiracy, Farisoğulları stated that the conspiracy caused an economic, political and social decay in the country. Farisoğulları, pointing to the discussions on the ‘new process’.

Farisogullari said, "The state, which was stuck, had to search for a new process. While asking for liquidation, it was Turkey itself that came to the point of liquidation"

‘WE WILL SUPPORT THE CALL'

Drawing attention to the historical announcement expected from Öcalan, Farisoğulları said, "Leader Apo is preparing for a process that will 'turn darkness into light' against all difficulties, isolation and isolation within the İmralı system. The 7-point perspective he sent during his meetings with the İmralı delegation has created morale and enthusiasm among the Kurdish people. His perspectives, solution methods and the paradigm he put forward are considered as a perspective that meets the freedom and democratic demands of the peoples. In this respect, it will create a hope (call) for both the Kurdish people and the peoples of the Middle East and the world. Every statement made by Öcalan is an instruction for us and we will offer our support at every level."

Stating that some circles are trying to create a ‘duality’ over Öcalan's call, Farisoğulları stressed: "We will unite around our leader and his solution methods are essential for us. The approach of the Kurdish people is also obvious. The state may aim to create a contradiction. There are some poisonous approaches that Mr Öcalan has surrendered his organisation or surrendered his will. On the contrary; we can consider it as Mr Öcalan's move to save Turkey. We refer to this as the democratic transformation project. From this point of view, we say that weapons, war and conflict cannot bring a solution by forcing the people of Turkey into a democratic transformation, and at the same time by bringing the Kurdish issue, which has become universal and gained an international dimension, into this framework. This is actually not a new process. Mr Öcalan has continuously put this solution perspective on his agenda since 1993 and has made comprehensive evaluations."

Farisoğulları stated that security and freedom conditions should be ensured for Öcalan to play the role of chief negotiator and that Abdullah Öcalan should meet with his own organisation and different groups. Farisoğulları said, "If the AKP side calculates how it will benefit from this process, if it blocks the process, then the losers will be the Turkish people and Turkey. Because the Kurdish people will already carry out their struggle and will carry out the struggle by gaining greater momentum. It will not be the Kurdish people who lose."

Pointing out that hundreds of thousands will meet in Europe on the anniversary of the conspiracy, Farisoğulları urged all segments of society to come to Strasbourg on 15 February. Farisoğulları said the following: "Today we will raise our demands for freedom to a higher level. It will be a day when this historical statement by the Leader will be embraced. We invite all Kurdish people and friends in Europe and around the world to the rally."
