NEWS CENTER - Noting that the Syrian peoples see the themselves close to the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and that Syria is being taken back 105 years with "new constitutional declaration", Aldar Khalil said: "Syria cannot be governed form a single centre. Those in Damascus are in the minority."

PYD Co-chairship Executive Committee Member Aldar Khalil made evaluations to Fırat News Agency (ANF) on the latest developments in Syria.

Stating that the constitutional declaration takes Syria back to 105 years ago, Aldar Khalil emphasised that they have been a part of Syria since the revolution and their aim is to build a democratic Syria. he stated that the government in Damascus thinks that they want to run Syria from the centre, but centralised administration is not suştable for the unity of Syria. "Our project is based on the unity and solidarity of the society so that they can live together and live in solidarity. In this way, the unity of Syria can be preserved," he said.

Aldar Khalil stated that there are opportunities for an agreement in the context of their project and reminded that the SDF travelled to Damascus and signed an agreement. Reminding that committees should be established in order to implement other articles in the agreement, Aldar Khalil said, "What is important is the establishment of committees for the military, administration-management, economy and the Kurdish cause. With the establishment of these committees, the agreement will reach its meaning. The committees in question will start their work in their own fields. For example, when the committee for the Kurdish cause is established, the Kurdish parties will share their views and present their proposals. The Kurdish cause cannot limit the problems of different ethnic, religious and nationalities to the Kurdish cause. Therefore, these problems will be resolved through a different committee."

Aldar Khalil stated that the Interim government of Damascus had designated Syria as an Arab Republic, but neither the Autonomous Administration nor the Syrian peoples accepted this, adding that there were many forms of decentralised administration and that the most appropriate form of administration would be discussed by the committees to be formed. Aldar Khalil stressed that a ceasefire is absolutely necessary and said, "We are in favour of reaching an agreement on a ceasefire. It is true, the Damascus government says we did not wage war against you. But there are forces inside Syria that attacked us. Why is this ceasefire not honoured? If you are the President of Syria, you have to see the attacks on Syrian territory."

Aldar Khalil reminded the attacks in Tishreen, Qara Qwzaq, Til Temir, Ain Issa, Kobani and said, "If he signs such and agreement, he officially accepts that he is responsible for what happened in North and East Syra. If you consider yourself responsible for North adn East Syria, then attacks are taking place against North and East Syria. Why don't you fulfil your duty? With this agreement, Colani and his government have assumed the responsibility of protecting North and East Syria."

Aldar Khalil drew attention to the regions where Turkey and the affiliated Syrian National Army (SNA) have settled. Aldar Khalil said "Afrin, Gire Spi, Serekaniye, Jarablus, Bab, Ezaz and Manbij are still under occupation by the gangs supported by the Turkish state and affiliated to them" and he emphasised that if the interim government protects Syrian sovereignty, it should demand the Turkish state to leave Syria.

"The massacres carried out against the Syrian coastal cities and especially against the Alawites are absolutely unacceptable and must be severely condemned," added Aldar Xelil, emphasising that the agreement signed between the SDF and the interim government must also be understood correctly and that the Autonomous Administration will never be in a war against peoples, beliefs and ethnic groups.

"We are not against Alawites, Druze, Assyrians, Assyrians or Arabs. We do not side with the oppressors. The humanist and democratic culture we are based on is in front of our eyes, and our approach to events and facts is known," he said.

"The constitutional declaration published is unacceptable," Aldar Khalil said, stressing that the people also did not accept the constitution and took to the streets against the constitution. Aldar Khalil said that Turkey sent a delegation here immediately after the signing of the agreement between the SDF and the Interim Government because they were afraid that Damascus would accept the terms of the Autonomous Administration and added, "It is clear that the Turkish state has never accepted the development of a democratic project in Syria."

Since 2011, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has been building a life with equal representation by bringing all rights together said Aldar Khalil and emphasized that the project they have implemented has had a significant impact and added: "This is the project that represents all of Syria. Those in the minority are those in Damascus. Solidarity of peoples is a very important thing. It was like this historically. It is also like this today. We also draw strength from this. The more this culture develops, the more democratic Syria can be created."
