NEWS CENTER – Dozens of political parties, associations, civil society and legal organisatios from different circles will follow the ceremony to be held by the PKK in the Federated Kurdistan Region.
The eyes and ears of the World will be on the developments in the “Peace and Democratic Society Process” this week. While the preparations for the commission expected to be established in the Parliament within the scope of the process initiated for the solution of the Kurdish issue and the democratisation of the country continue, on the other hand, the Federated Kurdistan Region will witness a historic development.
Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan is expected to take a new step and make a call to the PKK. Immediately afterwards, it is stated that a group from the PKK will organise an arms laying ceremony. The exact date on which the group, which is expected to include names from the executive cadre, will hold the ceremony is unknown. However, it is considered certain that such a ceremony will take place by the end of next week.
The Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party made an important announcement regarding the expected ceremony. In the statement, it was stated that some intellectuals and writers will be taken to the ceremony with the organisation of the party. A call was also made to journalists who want to follow the ceremony.
The ceremony will be broadcast live. In addition, many people from all over the world, especially Kurdistan and Turkey, will follow the ceremony. Many names from Turkey and Kurdistan will also attend the ceremony.
