AGIRÎ - Speaking in front of Patnos Type L Prison, where the hunger strike continues, MED TUHAD-FED Co-Chair Kerem Canpolat, one of the Freedom Marchers, said: "We will definitely win."

 

The "Great Freedom March", which was initiated to ensure the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan and to solve the Kurdish issue, is on its 4th day. Those in the Qers (Kars) branch of the march made a statement in front of Patnos Type L Closed Prison, where the hunger strike continues with same demands.

 

'WE WILL DEFINITELY WIN'

 

Speaking in the statement where the slogan "Bijî berxwedana zindanan (Long live resistance of dungeons)" was chanted, MED TUHAD-FED Co-chair Kerem Canpolat said: "Our march is to defend life against death and light against darkness. Our people are struggling to prevent deaths. We want all the people in Turkey to support us. There are hunger strikes in prisons right now. We salute them all. They are watching us with great hope. We will definitely win and break the isolation imposed on Mr. Ocalan."

 

Tekin Ozdemir, father of Helin Ozdemir, who is on hunger strike, said: “My daughter is on hunger strike. I also want the isolation to be abolished and I want Ocalan to meet with his lawyers and his family."
