Treatment of Iranian prisoner Zeinab Jalalian being obstructed

NEWS CENTER - Zeinab Jalalian, who has been held in Yezid Prison for 20 years, is not receiving treatment despite three weeks having passed since her operation, and her health checks are being obstructed. 

Zeinab Jalalian, who has been held in Yezid Prison for 20 years, is still not receiving treatment three weeks after her surgery and is being deprived of regular medical check-ups. 
 
Sources close to the family state that regular health checks and uninterrupted treatment are necessary. However, the prison administration is obstructing this process. The sources emphasised that Zeinab Jalalian's health condition is seriously poor and that she is experiencing severe pain. Despite the lack of post-operative treatment and the presence of many other health problems, no attempt has been made to treat her in prison. 
 
WHAT HAPPENED?
 
Zeinab Jalalian was arrested in 2008. After two years in detention, her death sentence was commuted to a prison sentence and later converted to life imprisonment. During her detention, she was repeatedly subjected to torture and suffered both physical and psychological violence.
