AMED - Amed Peace Mothers' Assembly called on Kurds in 4 parts of Kurdistan to unite against the attacks agianst North and East Syria.
Amed (Diyarbakır) Peace Mothers' Assembly made a statement on the threats of attacks by Turkey and its Syrian National Army (SNA) forces against North and East Syra. "Bila ENKS dev ji berdevkiya şerê taybet ê Tirkiye'yê berde/( ENKS must srop being the spokeperson of the Turkish state's special war)" banner was unfurled in the statement made in the association buildings in Rezan (Bağlar) district of Amed.
Amed Peace Mothers' Assembly spokeperson Havva Kıran and Kudret Eryılmaz spoke at the statement.
Kudret Eryılmaz said that they made the statement to call for the unitiy of Kurds in 4 parts of Kurdistan. Stressed that Rojava is once again the target of attacks, Kudret Eryılmaz said: "As a mother, I call out to Barzani and ENKS; All Kurdish institutions should must come together and unite. Unity must be united against this barbaric enemy that has no humanity. Only if we are united we can heal our wounds. Kurdistan is big enough for all of us, if we do not unite today, they will destroy us one by one. Barzani, you say 'I am the president'. You should reach out to your brothers in Rojava. Put your hands under the stone together so that our wounds can be healed. The efforts made in Rojava today should not be in vain. Serve your own people, not others. If we are united as Kurds, the whole world will recognise us, we have no other chance but this."
CALL TO BARZANI
Havva Kıran emphasised the importance of unity in the current process. Havva Kıran said: "From now on, let's give our hands to each other and resist for Rojava, which continues with games and on which the whole world is negotiating. From here, we call out to ENKS and KDP".
She also made following call to KDP Leader Massoud Barzani: "Say, 'Enough is enough, let's give our hands to our brothers'. If something were to happen there today, Kurds would be hurt both in Bakur and in the four parts of Kurdistan. It is the Kurds who will stand up with you, and you are a Kurd. The bloodshed in Rojava must stop. Today, the same situation is valid for Shengal, we say don't leave them alone".
The statement ended with the slogan "Rojava is not alone".
