ANKARA – Journalist Huseyin Aykol, who has suffered three brain haemorrhages, continues to receive treatment since 14 October.
Aykol has been undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit with antibiotics for some time. His doctors have informed that he will undergo a Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy on 12 December.
Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy is a procedure to place a tube into the stomach from outside to provide nutrition for patients who cannot be fed orally.
