Campaign to send money to prisoners continues

ISTANBUL - IHD Istanbul Branch sent money to their member Hatice Onaran, who was arrested for her solidarity with prisoners, and demanded her release.
 
Human Rights Association (IHD) Istanbul Branch Prison Commission continues its campaign to send money to their member Hatice Onaran, who was sentenced to prison for sending money to prisoners on the allgation of "financing the terror organization". 
 
IHD Istanbul Branch Chair Gulseren Yoleri reminded that Hatice Onaran was arrested due to her solidarity with prisoners. "How could terrorism be financed with the money Hatice Onaran sent from the post office to the account of the prison administration in accordance with the legal procedure and spent at the disposal of the prison administration?" she asked. Gülseren Yoleri demanded an end to unjust arrests and demanded the release of Hatice Onaran.
 
After the statement, money was sent to Hatice Onaran in Gebze Prison.
